Author Marketing Tools
Finding the right tools to use is important to pulling your author marketing strategy together. Tools include all the software, accounts, plugins, gadgets, even basic old spreadsheets that allow you to pull off the marketing plans you cook up. Your website is one tool, but so is the content management system you use to build it (are you using WordPress or something else like Wix? for example), the hosting is another tool and so is the plugin you use to collect email addresses for a newsletter, and the system that manages that list for you. When you hear other authors talking about these systems, or read about them, you need to know how to use them, and how to select good ones. You also need to know what they cost and which ones are worth it.
